5 things you need to know about the resident doctor strikes
- During resident doctor strikes all other NHS staff including consultants and specialist doctors will still be working hard to keep you safe
- If you need urgent medical help but you’re not sure where to go, use 111 to get assessed and directed to the right place for you- Call, go online or use the NHS App. NHS 111
- Call 999 in an emergency when someone is seriously ill or their life is at risk
- You will be contacted if your appointment needs to be changed. We’ll only cancel if absolutely necessary and if needed, we’ll be in touch to reschedule
- GP practices and dental surgeries remain open. Please continue to attend your GP and dental appointment unless told otherwise
